Royal Commission...
The
Anglican Church in the Province of Western Australia welcomes the
Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual
Abuse.
The
official sittings began in Melbourne on 3 April 2013. The
Anglican Church supports those who wish to appear before the Commission
at either a private or public hearing.
In
order that we may assist the Commission with any requests for
information, I write to invite parishioners to contact the Director of
Professional Standards, Ms Tracie Chambers-Clark at
tchambers-clark@perth.anglican.org
or on 9325 7455, if you have any information concerning current
or historic matters of child
sexual abuse and related matters. This may include unlawful or
improper treatment of children that is, either generally or in any
particular instance, connected or associated with child sexual abuse.
